Hue21 is a videography studio based in Middlesborough, led by returning client James. Having previously designed the website for his wedding videography business, James came back to me looking for a fresh online presence for his commercial videography brand.

His existing WordPress website had become difficult to maintain following a security issue and no longer reflected the quality of his work. The goal was to create something clean, memorable, and easy to navigate, using a simple black and white palette with subtle rainbow gradients to reflect the brand's creative personality.

With video at the heart of the business, the website needed to showcase James' portfolio without compromising performance. Using a combination of short background videos and play-on-hover effects, we created an engaging experience that remains fast and responsive. Interactive portfolio filtering and dedicated service landing pages help potential clients quickly understand the type of work James offers and guide them towards making an enquiry.

The finished website feels modern, creative, and purposeful — balancing striking visual moments with a clear user journey that supports both James' portfolio and the way he works with clients.
