CK Bakes is a wedding cake bakery specialising in elegant, modern designs. Founder Charley came to me ready to elevate her online presence as her business grew and began attracting higher-end wedding clients.
Her existing website, built on the Square platform, was difficult to manage and no longer reflected the quality of her work. Charley wanted a website that felt calm, refined, and visually impressive — with a clear wow factor that matched her cakes.
Building on her existing logo and brand colour, I developed an expanded colour palette and selected typography that felt modern yet timeless. With a large amount of information to communicate, the focus was on creating a clear structure supported by beautiful imagery, guiding visitors through the site without overwhelming them. We also created simple, efficient workflows for enquiries and sample box orders that were easy for Charley to manage.
The finished website feels elegant, calm, and considered. Subtle wedding-inspired details add personality without distraction, and Charley is now confidently managing enquiries and orders through a site that truly reflects her business.
