Before we start
You’ll receive a welcome pack with clear guidance to help you prepare your content and assets, so everything is ready before the design stage begins.

Week One
Using what you’ve shared, I’ll design and build the first version of your website. You’ll then have time to review the draft and share feedback.

Week Two
This week is focused on refining and finalising the design. I’ll apply agreed changes, add the finishing touches, and prepare everything for launch.

Time to launch
I’ll guide you through setting up your Squarespace account, connect your domain, and launch your website. You’ll also receive 7 days of post-launch support for any final questions.

A deposit is required to secure your project, with the remaining balance split across the project timeline. -

I use (and love) Squarespace for all of my website. I go into detail in this blog post about why I love it so much, but the short answer is that it is extremely user friendly for my clients to use after I hand the site over to them. It also allows me the creative freedom to create a beautiful bespoke website that can be strategic, smart but simple to use.

As I mentioned, hosting is provided through Squarespace and will be s paid directly to them. You can may monthly or annually and with the annual package you will receive a free domain (website address) and as I am a member of the Squarespace Circle, I can offer you a 25% discount on your first year. Yes. If you have an existing website with a blog I can transfer this across to your new website.

Payment is made in 3 instalments. An initial deposit is taken at booking to secure your place in my diary, a further 40% is due at the start of the project with the final 40% due once the website is complete, prior to project handover.

If you don't have any type of branding or styling set for your business yet, I am happy to pull together a simple Website Style Palette for us to use throughout the project. This will consist of two fonts - one for your headings and one for paragraph text - and around five colours that are selected with website usability in mind.
This branding upgrade will cost £250 and will add around one week to your project. You will receive a style palette that will include the font and colour names so you can use them in your business going forward.

Yes! I would never leave my clients high and dry with a website they are scared to touch. The best way to build your Google ranking is through an active and up to date website so I want you to feel confident in managing your own website.

From your start date it will take around 4 weeks to completion. Before we start I will ask you to gather together your text, images and logo/brand information so when that start date arrives, we're ready to dive straight in!

Before the project start date you will have a bit of homework to do. That will consist of sharing text, images and your branding with me.
I have a Website Copy Guide that I will share with you, which will walk you through writing the text for each of the pages on your website.
We'll use a shared Google Drive as a place to store all of your information and we'll communicate throughout the project using Asana

All websites require a cookie and privacy policy. Including terms of use page for website users and if you have an online shop, conditions and shipping policies are also advisable. As these are legal documents I can't provide these for you but I will share a Legal Pages guide with you that includes a list of requirements and resources for free and paid templates you can use.
