Custom Squarespace Website for Criminal Law Firm

Commons

Business Type: Criminal Law Firm

Design Package: Custom Squarespace Website

Live Site

Commons is a criminal law firm that needed a website refresh — not just visually, but functionally. Their existing WordPress site felt clunky and difficult to update, which led them to seek a simpler platform. Their main goal was to transition to Squarespace, while also improving the layout, content structure, and user experience.

With their strong branding already in place (including a bold colour palette and distinctive typography), I focused on elevating the site’s design while making it easier to navigate — particularly on mobile. I introduced subtle graphic elements to highlight key information and create a more engaging visual hierarchy, all while preserving the firm's professional tone.

The result is a modern, clean website that’s easy for the team to manage internally and much more accessible for their clients.

The website design project was an enjoyable process. It’s much better on mobile and clearer to navigate. I’d definitely recommend Kirsty to other SME businesses!
